Urbis 'Little Black Dress' family workshop
Mimi Faulks provides fashion face painting for this interactive clothes designing workshop and photo shoot.


Feb 24th 06: WW2 Family experience day, Stockport Council & Heritage.
Mimi Faulks provides face painting and styling for authentic 1940s Family Portrait Workshop.

21st Jan 06: Interactive storytelling adventure party
Kids are led on a magical adventure story, they solve puzzles and play a variety of games based around developing their musical, acting, rhythm and dancing skills. A collaboration between Mimi & Ben Faulks and The Rhythm Kitchen.

Jan 7th – ongoing 06: Arts facilitator for the Brindale House Arts Club for Stockport Council
Mimi Faulks co-designs and delivers a weekly session of multi-arts based workshops for 2- 12 year olds. Each month is themed.

Dec 7th – 20th 05: Interactive aftershow workshop for the Christmas circus pantomime ‘The Magic Tree’ at The Greenroom theatre, Manchester.
In association with Circus Zapperelli and The Greenroom.
Cheshire Cats Mimi & Ben Faulks, devised and delivered interactive aftershow workshops that linked with the eco-friendly values of the show. The workshop involved a discussion of the show, team building excersises, UV balloon decorating and a magical UV balloon flight!

Nov 13th 05: The Big Sing Thing - a Funday Sunday event at The Greenroom theatre Manchester.
Mimi & Ben Faulks developed a unique day of singing workshops for parents and kids to work together exploring their voices. Activities included: vocal experimentation; group warm ups and vocal games. Songs learnt included famous theme tunes and African songs. The day culminated in an instant performance. It was a fantastic success, watch out for the Big Sing II !

Half term 25 – 29 Oct, Saturdays 1 Oct – 1st Dec: ‘Let’s Rock!’ Family workshop at Urbis, Manchester. In association with “Rock ‘n’ Roll Icons: The Photography of Mick Rock” exhibition a the Urbis Level One Gallery.
Dressing up/music extravaganza family workshop. Turning kids into Rock Stars through make up and costume, using inspiration from Mick Rock’s exhibition of Rock icons from the seventies. Photo session included where kids get to ‘strike a pose’ for their next album cover. Mimi worked on this project.

August 15th – 19th: ‘The Circus of Mister Punch’ at The Lowry, Salford Quays. Mimi Faulks ran a theatre make-up master-class & workshop.

Aug 4th: ‘Theatre make-up master-class & workshop’ for ‘Cats’ the musical, at the ‘Musical Theatre Workshop’ in Gately, Manchester.
Mimi Faulks trained the children to face paint for the show.

30 May - 3 June & 27 Jul – 3 Sept 2005: ‘Junk Punk Clobber Design Workshops’ at Urbis, Manchester.
Dressing up family workshop. Mimi turned kids into 'Punks' through make up and costume design.

June 23rd – 26th 2005: ‘The Kidz Field’ at Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts.
Bex Vickers and Mimi Faulks face painted for the Kidz Field at Glastonbury.
